What Can I Do Now To Prepare To Buy A Home Later | #AskTonyB 101
Welcome to the #AskTonyB Show – Your Mortgage Questions Answered! Each week we will be talking all things home buying and lending.
On our first episode of the #AskTonyB Show we answer the question…“What can I do now to get prepared to buy a home later?”
Step 1: Pull A Free Credit Report
These reports aren’t always accurate, but they can give you a decent picture of what your credit looks like. Tracking your credit also helps keep your score up which will help you get pre-approved later on.
Step 2: Set A Budget
You may end up with closing costs or a down payment to plan for when you buy a home. Start now by setting a monthly budget so you’re prepared when the time comes to buy.
Step 3: Meet With A Lender
Meeting with a lender doesn’t mean you have to use them or even that you have to buy a home…but it will mean you can get your questions answered up front.
If you’re thinking about buying a home in the next few months please reach out. I’d love to meet with you and answer your questions or help you get pre-approved when you are ready to go out shopping.
Take a minute to post your questions below and get them answered on our next show.
See you next week on the #AskTonyB Show.
